Library Legislative Day, held this year on February 16, is a day when people advocate for libraries by speaking to their Wisconsin legislators. This year's theme, "Libraries Step Up" spotlights all the ways Wisconsin's libraries step up for our communities--whether over the last year during the pandemic, or any day.
It's important that our legislators be reminded of the important community needs libraries fill. We're calling on you to join us in sharing all the ways you are thankful for how the Ellsworth Public Library helps you.
It’s Easy to Step Up:
Step 1: Pick up one or more postcards from your library. (You can also send an email).
Step 2: Find the contact information for your elected officials. (We suggest sending one to your state senator, state representative, and county supervisors.)
